Sheila Collins is proud to be making her African-American Shakespeare Company debut. Ms. Collins’ previous roles include Ruth in A Raisin in the Sun; Joan in The Guys; Crooks in Of Mice and Men; Yenta in Fiddler on the Roof; as well as several roles in The People Speak, among others. Here in San Francisco Ms. Collins performed in a multi-media, interactive production as part of the Queer Arts Festival in Shafted: The Blaqxploitation Project; appeared as Addie in a Tides Theatre production of The Little Foxes; and read the role of Tituba in Tituba, Black Witch of Salem, Or the Devil Made Me Do it, written by OyamO (Charles F. Gordon) as part of the play reading series produced by Lorraine Hansberry Theatre. Most recently Sheila Collins appeared in the debut production of 444 Days, written by Torange Yeghiazarian and produced by Golden Thread Productions.
